Up until now, OnePlus has only launched one smartwatch in 2021. After that, the company has been mostly focusing on phones, tablets, and audio products.
After more than three years, it seems that the company thinks this is the right time to finally launch a successor.
Yesterday, OnePlus published a post on its OnePlus Community site, teasing the arrival of the OnePlus Watch 2.
The teaser image didn’t show the Watch 2 in its entirety, but thanks to a leak that we covered last November, the teaser image seems to line up accurately with the leaked images.
As for the specs, the OnePlus Watch 2 has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset according to GSMArena.
The company didn’t announce a launch date, but a leaker, @MaxJmb posted on X and claimed that OnePlus is planning to launching the smartwatch on 26 February 2024.
