Rapid KL announces that commuters can utilise debit and credit cards at Rapid KL stations for purchasing tickets and subscribing to or topping up My50 and MyCity travel passes.

In a statement shared on its Facebook page, Rapid KL expressed that these new payment options aim to streamline and enhance the efficiency of ticket transactions for Rapid KL users.

Moreover, these payment alternatives are accessible at Rapid KL concession card registration counters located at Pasar Seni Hub and Conlay MRT station in Kuala Lumpur.

The statement reassured users that with these additional methods, they need not concern themselves with carrying cash or locating ATMs, ensuring a safer and more seamless transaction experience.

This initiative aligns with Rapid Rail’s dedication to modernising the purchasing system and providing commuters with a positive travel journey.

As to when you can use your bank card to pay for Rapid KL services, Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook hopes to implement it by the end of this year.
