Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo is now the Digital Minister after Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced a cabinet reshuffle earlier today.
With the announcement, Gobind will take up the new post while Fahmi Fadzil will be the Communications Minister, effectively splitting the Communications and Digital Ministry into two separate ministries.
This is his second stint as minister as previously, he was appointed as the Communication and Multimedia Minister back in 2018 under the premiership of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
The cabinet reshuffle by the Unity government has seen the return of familiar figures such as Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad reappointed as Health Minister.
