Shopee just introduced a new delivery option called “Instant Delivery” for users in the Klang Valley. Through this, Shopee enables buyers to receive goods quickly, within two hours after making a purchase on the platform.
Shopee has stated that this feature is supported by several sellers in the Klang Valley. The delivery time is approximately two hours after purchase, between 9am and 9pm.
This delivery option is available if the distance between the buyer and the seller is approximately 30 kilometres (KM).
In terms of cost, according to Shopee’s FAQ, for the first four KM, Shopee Instant Delivery costs RM6 for delivery, and it increases by RM1 for each subsequent KM up to a maximum of 30 KM. For a limited time, Shopee is offering free delivery within five KM.
ShopeeFood couriers will pick up the items and deliver them to the users. Shopee has also set some other limitations for items that can be delivered through Shopee Instant Delivery, including a maximum weight of 10 kg, in addition to items being no larger than 30x30x30 cm.
