Xiaomi just launched the Redmi K60 series in China a few days ago, and as with every Redmi K series, it will be rebranded as the Poco F series for the global markets. At least one of the K60 series phones will be available globally, and today we know which one it is going to be.

Android Authority reports that a reliable source says the Redmi K60 will be rebranded as Poco F5 Pro for global markets.

The last Poco F Pro phone was the Poco F2 Pro, which was launched back in 2020. Every other Poco model ever since has only had the regular and GT versions. If this is true, this would be the second Poco F Pro model.

The Redmi K60 is packing Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, with support up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB storage and running MIUI 14 out of the box.

It has a 6.67-inch, 1440 x 3200 OLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate. To keep the phone running, there’s a large 5,500mAh battery that support 67W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging.

If the Redmi K60 is going to be the Poco F5 Pro, this is going to be the first Poco phone to get wireless charging capability.

For photography, the phone has a 64MP main camera with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. In front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.

The Poco F series usually comes a few months later after the initial release of Redmi K series phones in China, so it could be awhile before we hear anything official about it.
