The gaming monitor that Samsung showed off at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2022) earlier this year is now coming to Malaysia.
The Odyssey Ark is the world’s first 55-inch 1000R curved monitor. It is built for gaming, movies, and multi-tasking.
Apart from the sheer size of the thing, the Odyssey Ark has built in surround sound (4 speakers), is able to rotate into portrait mode, and has mood lighting.
It also uses Quantum Matrix Technology with Quantum Mini LEDs which in English means really good colour accuracy and brightness separation, has a matte finish, and supports 4K gaming at 165hz. That’s a lot of resolution and fast response.

But with great technology comes a hefty price tag. You can pre-order the 55-inch Odyssey Ark from now to 18 September at the recommended retail price of RM13,999. But you’ll get an RM4,999 ‘The Freestyle’ portable smart projector with it too.
