Samsung Malaysia Electronics yesterday launched the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) 5G at a media event.
We already know most of the details about the S21 FE 5G from their announcement previously.

However, this time Samsung also announced their preorder promotion for the S21 FE 5G, and we got our hands on the device at the event.
Pre-Order
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is available for preorder from today (6 Jan) to 10 Jan at Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Authorized Partners ,and Samsung Malaysia Online Store.
While the prices remains the same –RM2,899 for the 128Gb model and RM3,099 for the 256GB model — Samsung is including a RM350 e-voucher and Samsung Care+ 1 Year Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage with every pre-order.
On top of that, from today until 28 Feb, those who purchase an S21 FE 5G could also get a 30% discount on selected accessories and 20% discount on selected wearables.
There’s also a Trade-in option if you don’t want to keep your old device.
It Feels Good
The Galaxy S21 FE 5G feels premium even with an all plastic back. It also feels so much lighter despite the big 4,500mAh battery.
The flat, thin bezeled display is very bright and responsive.
The night mode is particularly interesting. It works by taking 14 pictures in a burst. The software then combines all the images, brightens it, and removes the noise to produce a single image. And it happens in a split second.
For The Fans By The Fans
Samsung Malaysia Electronics president, Edward Han said the S21 FE 5G is made for the fans, by the fans.
It’s features were determined through feedback, global surveys and focus groups.
The result is a Fan Edition that shares a lot of similarities with the Galaxy S21 but with fan centric features like a higher resolution selfie camera, a larger battery, and a larger screen.
