Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) publication to uphold its commitment to transparency and ethical governance in the digital economy.

The five (5) years inclusion of MDEC’s OACP publication, from 2023 till 2027, demonstrates its dedication to strengthening administration, fostering anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and abuse of power within the organization. Aligned with MDEC’s mission, the OACP publication aims to drive the digital economy upon a solid foundation of integrity, transparency, and good governance.

Present at the launch ceremony were Yang Berhormat Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister
of Communications and Digital (KKD); Yang Berusaha Ma. Sivanesan, Deputy Secretary General of KKD; Yang Berhormat Tuan Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, Chairman of MDEC; Ts. Mahadhir Aziz, Chief Executive Officer of MDEC; Yang Berusaha Tuan Azmin bin Yusoff, Community Education Division Deputy Director of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC); Board of Directors of MDEC, and government agencies.

The event also witnessed MDEC’s Ikrar Bebas Rasuah (IBR) ceremony by its employees who pledged via a hybrid approach. The IBR is MDEC’s continuous effort to uphold integrity and accountability. The ceremony was led by Ts. Mahadhir Aziz, Chief Executive Officer of MDEC.
