Last week, we reported that KTM Komuter is the first train line to support debit card payments at the Automatic Control Gate (ACG), providing more convenience and alternatives for users when using the KTM Komuter services.

Currently, this new payment system can be utilised at all KTM Komuter stations in the Klang Valley and Northern regions. Only local bank cards can be used at the automatic control gate terminals.

Other than supporting debit cards, KTM also stated that they will support Apple Pay and Samsung Pay “early next year at all KTM stations,” according to KTM’s announcement on its Facebook page.

KTM also said they are working on supporting more debit cards in the future, including cards issued by foreign banks.
