Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 13 series in December 2022, and it’s expected that the giant Chinese tech company is going to launch the 14 series in November 2023 because Qualcomm will be introducing its latest flagship chipset later this month.

However, that doesn’t seem to be case because according to Gizmochina, a Chinese tech site, ITHome reports that Weibo bloggers said that the Xiaomi 14 series is set to launch on 27 October, following the Snapdragon Summit 2023, which will be held from 24 to 26 October in Hawaii.

The reports about the Xiaomi 14 series launching are further supported by the statement of a Xiaomi store employee, adding credibility to the information.

The series is expected to include the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra slated for a later release.

These new models will feature a redesigned look, and cases for the Pro variant have already confirmed these changes.

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, identified by model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23116PN5BC, have recently received certifications from China’s 3C and TENAA (similar to Malaysia MCMC and SIRIM).

They will also sport Leica-tuned cameras with multiple focal lengths, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The Xiaomi 14 Pro is rumoured to include a titanium frame and satellite connectivity.

Additionally, these devices will be the first to run MIUI 15 based on Android 14, and the new version of Xiaomi’s mobile software is expected to be officially unveiled alongside the phones.
