Tesla To Launch Model 3 ‘Highland’ Variant This Month

Customers can expect the new vehicles to be delivered by the end of the year.

Tesla is looking at launching the ‘Highland’ variant of the Model 3 by this month, a few months after they unveiled the Model Y back in July.

Based on reports from SoyaCincau, the facelift Model 3 is available in two options: Rear-Wheel Drive (RM189,000) and Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive (RM218,000) and is already open for booking.

Tesla is expected to make the first deliveries of the Model 3 electric cars (EV) to its customers later this year, while the Model Y will be delivered by early next year.

The Model 3 has a starting price of RM189,000 while the Model Y has a starting price of RM199,000, based on reports from Berita Harian.

For the ‘Highland’ variant, Tesla says they’ve updated the exterior for maximum aerodynamics and claims that the new variant can go up to 629km on a single charge.

They’ve also redesigned the interior of the car with more sophisticated materials, ventilated seats & customizable ambient lighting.
