Realme just announced that they will be releasing the Realme C51 soon, and the company isn’t shy about telling consumers that you too can experience Apple’s Dynamic Island on its C-series smartphones with its “Mini Capsule” feature.

The design of the Realme C51 closely mirrors the design language of the brand’s C53 model, which was introduced locally a few months ago. You can read our review about Realme C53. The phone will be available in two colours: Carbon Black and Mint Green.

The Realme C51 boasts a Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset, which supports up to 4G connectivity, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD up to 2TB). You can expand the RAM capacity to 8GB using the built-in Dynamic RAM Expansion tool.

This phone sports a 6.7-inch flat IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 560 nits.

Even though it looks like it has a dual-camera setup, in reality there’s only one camera, a 50MP primary sensor, with another “camera” being a 0.08MP depth sensor. Additionally, there’s a 5MP selfie camera housed within the water-drop notch on the display.

Furthermore, the C51 model is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a loudspeaker, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, Android 13 with Realme UI T, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C 2.0 port. The company mentions that NFC support may vary depending on market/region availability.

Pricing and Availability

At the time of writing, Realme didn’t reveal the exact pricing, but the company hinted that it would be priced around RM500. A quick check on Shopee reveals that the phone will probably be priced at RM549.
