In the handheld gaming PC market, we have the king, Valve’s Steam Deck, followed by Asus ROG Ally and AYANEO’s consoles. Now, Lenovo is joining this increasingly competitive market, hoping to steal a piece of the pie with its own handheld gaming PC.
Windows Report have obtained leaked images of Lenovo’s upcoming handheld gaming PC called the “Legion Go”.
Unlike the rest of the competitors, the Legion Go has a removable controllers, similar to Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Cons. It also has an eight-inch screen and since the controllers can be removed, the screen could have touch functionality as well.
The handheld console also have a wide Switch OLED-like kickstand that you can pop out and place it on a table for a more comfortable gaming experience.
Furthermore, Windows Report says that there are two USB-C ports (one at the bottom and one at the top), a power button, a 3.5mm headphone jack, volume buttons, and a micro-SD slot.
The Legion Go will run Windows 11, meaning it should be able to play any Windows games that support the device’s specs.
This gaming device will also use AMD Phoenix processors, which power the ROG Ally as well as other recent and forthcoming Windows handheld devices.
At the time of writing, Windows Report didn’t say anything about the availability and pricing of Legion Go.
