There was a time where foldable devices seem like a thing you can only see in a sci-fi movie, but now, foldable devices are as common as smartphones. Thanks to Samsung and their first foldable device, the Samsung Galaxy Fold, it prompted other companies to develop and market their own foldables for consumers.

The foldables we have right now were designed like a book or a flip phone. If this rumour is true, we could be looking at another revolutionary device from Samsung.

GSMArena reports that the Korean company is developing a new device with “Tri-Fold” design, which could potentially be released this year. This news is particularly significant because up until now, we have only had foldable devices with a single hinge for the past few years. The Tri-Fold is expected to have a dual-hinge design, allowing it to fold into three parts.

Besides that, Samsung is also allegedly not developing a Galaxy S23 FE. The Samsung Fan Edition line has been quite popular with fans, packing flagship-grade hardware, but with an affordable price point. The first FE model was Galaxy Note FE which was released back in July 2017 and the latest one is Galaxy S21 FE, released back in January 2022.
