If you rely on the WhatsApp desktop app regularly for work and personal communication, the giant instant messaging company just released a brand new desktop app that works better than the old one.

WhatsApp said the recently launched desktop app for Windows has a quicker loading time and features a user interface that is recognizable to both WhatsApp and Windows users. The app enables you to hold group video calls with a maximum of 8 individuals and audio calls with up to 32 individuals. The company plans to expand these limits further in the future.

This new app also enables end-to-end encrypted group calling and allows for multi-device syncing, so you can continue using WhatsApp even while your phone is off.
