Electronic Arts have soft-launched their popular battle royal game to mobile players in a limited regional launch in 10 countries.

Those countries are Argentina, Australia, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, and Singapore.

Although we all would love to try our hands on the game at the same time, the limited regional launch would help the development teams fine-tune the game and its back end systems.

Players will only be able to play on the classic World’s Edge map for now. They can also try the Team Deathmatch, Mini Battle Royale, 3v3 Arenas, and Ranked Battle Royale matches.

Available characters include Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, and Pathfinder. Caustic can be unlocked at Battle Pass tier 25.

Of course, there is also an in-game store. Those who are participating in the limited regional launch can access the store until 3 May.

Progression will be reset when the game is officially launched. But players can earn and bring the rewards they got from the limited regional launch to the fully launched game.

Any items purchased during this time using in-game currency will be converted to the in-game currency of an equivalent value when the game launches later this year.

As a token of appreciation, players in the limited regional launch players will receive an extra 25% bonus in-game currency credited to their account.

Also, the Legend skins earned at the end of the Battle Pass will carry over from the limited regional release to our worldwide launch.

Not only that, but players can also earn limited rewards based on how many matches they play during our limited regional launch.

Players can receive a limited badge (after 2 matches), limited weapon charm (for 5 matches), and a limited banner frame (for playing 10 matches), all of which can take into the worldwide launch

You can get the game now from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
