The telco is aiming for 30% integration by year-end.
Digi, Celcom, Yes, and U Mobile also exhibit strong 5G performance, according to the report.
Celcom and Digi will still continue offering products and services, respectively, but CelcomDigi is slowly heading towards convergence.
The telcos involved are Celcom, Maxis, YTL and Telekom Malaysia (TM).
They are focusing on building Malaysia’s widest and fastest 4G network – designed to be 5G-ready.
Celcom has the fastest 4G download speed, but for 5G, Digi takes the no.1 spot.
All the plans come with a 24-month contract.
Customers can just walk into any Digi and Celcom stores and still get the same services.
The fibre cable was damaged and Celcom said they are working to fix the issue as soon as possible.
But the major telcos have a plan of their own.
