In April 2023, the company commenced a full-scale programme to build Malaysia’s future digital network – integrating and modernising the widest and fastest 4G network in Malaysia with the latest LTE and 5G-ready technologies.

The company said these efforts have uplifted the overall network experience for its customers – post-consolidation, customers now enjoy wider coverage as well as improved customer experience.

CelcomDigi also introduced new segment offerings for home and fibre, and devices services under CelcomDigi Fibre with Malaysia’s first 1Gbps fibre for consumers and businesses.

The company is also actively spurring digitalisation and 5G adoption among consumers and businesses through its 5G device bundles and MY5G series.

Most recently, CelcomDigi, via its Innovation Centre and collaborating with DHL, launched the country’s first 5G-powered AI autonomous warehouse.

They also partnered with Yinson Holdings for the development of innovative electric vehicle (EV) services and infrastructure for Malaysian consumers.

Besides that, the company signed strategic partnerships with SK Telecom and VIRNECT in the areas of 5G, AI, and Metaverse applications.

CelcomDigi’s CEO Datuk Idham Nawawi said:

We aspire for CelcomDigi to be a new innovation icon for the nation – an institution that has the scale and resources to be the nation’s digital growth engine, to grow local talents, to develop the local digital ecosystem, and to bring the best solutions, offers, and experiences to our customers, and to be a brand that customers can trust and rely on in the age of “digital-everything.”

The company also announced that they have big plans for the future as shown here in these images.
