Tesla Malaysia announced that they have activated the first Supercharging station in Penang.
This Supercharging Station will be joining the recently activated Destination Charging station located at The Ship Campus in Batu Kawan and All Seasons Place in Penang.
The Sunway Carnival Supercharging Station offers four Superchargers, bringing the total to four Superchargers and 12 Destination Chargers in Penang.
The Supercharger can deliver DC charging output of up to 250kW and it costs RM1.25 per kWh. The idle fees costs up to RM4 per minute if the charging station is fully occupied.
However, because the chargers are situated in a mall, Tesla owners are required to pay a parking fee of RM5 per entry to access them.
