Tesla Is Expanding Its Charging Infrastructure In Penang

Tesla has announced the expansion of its charging network to Penang, introducing two Destination Charging stations at The Ship Campus, Batu Kawan, and All Seasons Place.

This extension enables Tesla owners to benefit from cross-country charging between Singapore, Johor, and Penang. Tesla’s Destination Charging stations offer convenient and dependable charging solutions, allowing Tesla owners to plug in and enjoy complimentary charging.

Through the Tesla app, owners can monitor charging status and receive notifications when their vehicles are ready for use.

The Ship Destination Charging Station is equipped with eight Destination Chargers, while the All Seasons Place Destination Charging Station provides four Destination Chargers, resulting in a total of 12 Destination Chargers added to Penang.

According to Tesla, currently, Malaysia boasts six Supercharging stations and eight Destination Charging stations, providing a combined total of 30 Superchargers and 37 Destination Chargers in key cities.

Tesla said they will further develop charging infrastructure in Penang and extend charging coverage throughout Malaysia.
