After many leaks and rumours, Samsung finally launched the long-awaited Galaxy S24 series smartphones now packing with AI-powered features such as Live Translate (real-time translation), Chat Assist (helps you craft messages), Note Assist (AI-generated summaries, template creation), and much more.
The Galaxy S24 series also marks the first time in Samsung’s history where they will be offering seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
The biggest upgrade this year is the Galaxy S24 Ultra with its titanium alloy frame, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro, and a 50MP telephoto sensor, but only capable of 5x optical zoom, as opposed to the S23 Ultra’s 10MP telephoto, which can do 10x optical zoom.
Last year, the entire Galaxy S23 lineup got the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, but this year only the S24 Ultra got the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the S24 and S24+ got the Exynos 2400 in Malaysia. For many, this might be considered a downgrade, but we still don’t know how the new chipset performs.

Pricing and Availability
The base 8GB+256GB model of the Samsung Galaxy S24 starts at RM4,099, while the 8GB+512GB variant is priced at RM4,599.
The S24+ is available in a 12GB+256GB configuration for RM4,899, and the 12GB+512GB model is priced at RM5,399.
The S24 Ultra comes with three options: RM6,299 for the 12GB+256GB version, RM6,799 for the 12GB+512GB model, and RM7,799 for the 12GB+1TB configuration.
