This huge 40-inch curved panel is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 600 and integrates IPS Black Panel technology to enhance colour contrast.

The monitor has a resolution of 5,120 x 2,160, the display ensures significant detail. It’s important to highlight that this isn’t a full 5K resolution (5,120 x 2,880), but rather 5K horizontally and 2K vertically.

Dell asserts that the monitor can display 99% of the DCI-P3 / Display P3 color space and features a 2,000:1 contrast ratio.

Equipped with a built-in ambient light sensor, the panel optimises brightness and colour temperature based on the user’s surroundings. Additionally, the improved ComfortView Plus panel reduces blue light emissions to less than 35%.

Also, Dell stated that they collaborates with TUV Rheinland, and its UltraSharp monitors are the first to receive TUV Rheinland five-star eye comfort certification—a new industry standard to alleviate signs of eye fatigue.

The company details three steps taken to achieve this certification, including increasing the refresh rate from 60 to 120Hz, implementing the ambient light sensor, and incorporating blue light reduction technology.

The monitor is equipped with a diverse range of ports and connections. It features a USB-A and USB-C pop-out quick access ports.

It has a RJ45 2.5 GbE port, a Thunderbolt 4 with up to 140W power delivery, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.1. The USB-C ports support 10Gbps transfer speeds and can deliver up to 15W of power.
