The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will help upgrade the internet network in 342 Mara educational institutions (IPMa), especially in 269 institutions that focus on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to improve the digital learning experience for both students and teachers.
MARA Chairman Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said on Facebook that MARA’s collaboration with MCMC will benefit TVETMARA students to participate and contribute to the country’s digital economy which is in line with “Industrial Revolution 4.0”.
He mentioned that it will also allow students and lecturers to access online resources and course materials faster and more efficiently including those in rural and urban areas.
In the same post, he said that he went to Cyberjaya to visit the Commission and address these issues.
He mentioned that connectivity and network issues are some of the common complaints given by educators when he visited educational institutions under MARA.
