The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) just launched the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Augmented Reality (MACC AR), an educational mobile game aimed at informing and garnering public support for MACC’s anti-corruption campaign.
The MACC AR app is available to download for free on platforms like Google Play Store, App Store, and Huawei’s AppGallery.
Nazli Rasyid Sulong, the community education division director, highlighted that the game, conceived by MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki, serves as an educational tool adaptable for school curriculums, according to Bernama.
Sulong emphasised the game’s approachability for both the public and students, aiming to impart a deeper understanding of MACC’s role and the perils of corruption.
AR technology, he explained, integrates animations, videos, and images into the real world via smart devices, offering an immersive anti-corruption experience accessible wherever the user may be.
Describing this technology as a cornerstone of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Sulong underscored its effectiveness in delivering engaging audio-visual content.
