During the iPhone 15 event, Capcom producer Tsuyoshi Kanda unveiled that two Resident Evil games would be arriving on the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max and iPads with M-series chips.
Resident Evil Village had been made available on the Apple Store just recently, and now Capcom has officially disclosed the release date for Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Capcom, the developer and publisher of the Resident Evil series, has recently announced that Resident Evil 4 Remake is set to launch on 20 December 2023, for the iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max, and all iPads equipped with an M1 chip or later.
The company has also stated that pre-orders are open starting today, and a demo can be downloaded. At the time of writing, the demo is not available on the writer’s iPhone 15 Pro.
When Resident Evil Village made its debut on Apple devices, it was priced at RM65 for the bass game and RM40 for the DLC.
However, Resident Evil 4 Remake will be more expensive and is priced at RM244.90 for the base game and RM80.90 for the DLC.
Furthermore, unlike Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake will be eligible for Apple’s Universal Purchase program, which means that with a single purchase of the game, you can play the game across all supported Apple devices.
