Samsung Started Seeding One UI 6 Update To Galaxy S23 Series Globally

Samsung’s One UI 6 is their latest version of custom Android skin, based on Android 14. The OS update also brings along the 1 October security patch is now seeding globally to the Galaxy 23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The update introduces numerous improvements and new features. It includes a new design featuring a fresh default font, updated icons, simplified icon labels, and the ability to enlarge or reposition the lock screen clock.

The Quick Panel now boasts a redesigned button layout with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons positioned at the top, followed by the usual quick toggles, while the brightness controls have been relocated to the bottom.

One UI 6 introduces the new Studio video player, which can be activated by accessing the Gallery app. This video editor is project-based and offers robust editing options, although it currently supports a maximum resolution of FHD.

Other enhancements include a new weather widget, a redesigned Samsung Health interface (available to Android 13 users), a more intelligent Airplane mode that keeps Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled, the relocation of the Battery setting menu next to the Display menu, and numerous additional features.
