Starting tomorrow, 1 November 2023, Malaysia Airlines will begin offering unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi service to all passengers traveling on specific widebody aircraft.

This service will be available to passengers, irrespective of their cabin class or loyalty tier, as per a statement released by Malaysia Airlines, according to NST.

Initially, this service will be accessible on 20 aircraft: A350-900 (6), A330-300 (9) and A330-200 (5) before being progressively expanded to certain narrowbody aircraft.

This new offering builds upon the airline’s introduction of complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi on 1 July 2023, specifically for Business Suite and Business Class passengers, as well as Enrich Platinum members, with a 100Mb data cap per flight segment.

Consequently, passengers traveling on these designated widebody aircraft will no longer need to subscribe to the airline’s pay-per-use Wi-Fi service.
