Spotify Is Increasing The Price For Their Premium Plans Starting September

Expect to pay up to RM1.70 more depending on your plan.

Last month, we reported that Spotify was raising the price of its premium plans globally, but Malaysia wasn’t on the list of countries that were affected at that time.

However, Spotify updated the list yesterday and now Malaysians have to pay more for the premium plans as well.

Subscribers have to fork out up to RM1.70 more, depending on the plan they are subscribing to.

This new pricing will take effect starting September 2023. Spotify said the price increased will allow them to “keep innovating” and “continue to deliver value to fans and artists on our platform”.
