RM28 Per Month For Netflix: Streaming Service Reduces Pricing For Its Basic Plan

While Netflix is busy enforcing its new rules on account sharing where people will have to start paying an additional fee if they are sharing their account with other users who do not live under the same roof as them, here in Malaysia, we got the good news instead.

The streaming giant announced today that they lowering the pricing of their Basic Plan from RM35 per month to RM 28 per month in Malaysia. That saves you RM7 per month and RM84 per year.

But everything else remains the same. You still get to watch Netflix in 720p on four different devices.

Netflix said new members who sign up will see the new price for the Basic Plan immediately starting today. This update will roll out to existing members over the coming weeks from their next billing cycle. Existing members will be notified by email and the exact timing will depend on the specific member’s billing cycle.
