Huawei Officially Launches P60 Pro And Mate X3 In Malaysia, With A Starting Price Of RM4,699

Yesterday, Huawei Malaysia officially announced their latest photography flagship smartphone, Huawei P60 Pro along with the ultra-light and thin foldable phone, Mate X3.

The P60 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G chipset, with support up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

It has a 10-bit 6.67-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2700 × 1220,  1-120Hz Adaptive High Dynamic Refresh rates, 1440Hz high frequency PWM dimming, and up to 300Hz touch sampling rate. This display is protected by Huawei’s Kunlun Glass.

Huawei claims P60 Pro display became the first phone in the world to be certified with TÜV Rheinland Color Accuracy Dual Certification (Colour Accuracy & Precise Colour Projection).

The P60 Pro has a 48MP Ultra Lighting Camera (F1.4~F4.0 variable aperture, OIS), a 13MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (F2.2 aperture), and a 48MP Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera (F2.1 aperture, OIS).

The phone has the battery capacity of 4,815mAh and supports wired 88W SuperCharge, wireless 50W SuperCharge, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.

The phone is also IP68 dust and water-resistant certified, and comes with Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, 3.1 Gen 1, limited to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi only, dual-SIM, and still no Google services.

Huawei said the P60 Pro in Rococo Pearl features the industry’s first Pearl Texture Design, which incorporates natural mineral pearl powder to achieve a unique natural texture like the Mother of Pearl. The deep feather-sand Black uses innovative Anti-Fingerprint Feather-Sand Glass.

This foldable phone is also powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G chipset, with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, which can be expanded using Huawei’s proprietary NM cards, up to 256GB.

The foldable weighs 239g and a thickness of 11.08mm while folded, and 5.3mm while unfolded – making it the world’s slimmest and lightest large-screen foldable smartphone according to Huawei.

The outside display is a Full HD+ 6.4-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED protected by Kunlun glass. The foldable display is a larger 7.85-inch OLED with 120Hz refresh rate. Huawei claims this is the first foldable smartphone to garner two TÜV Rheinland Certifications (Colour Accuracy & Precise Colour Projection).

On the back, it has a triple-camera setup: a 50MP Ultra Vision Camera (F1.8 aperture), a 13MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (F2.2 aperture), and a 12MP Periscope Telephoto Camera (F3.4 aperture, OIS). There are two selfies camera, one for the outer display, another one for the inner display. Both cameras are 8MP (F2.4 aperture).

To keep the foldable fed, there’s a 4,800mAh battery and it supports 66W wired SuperCharge, 50W wireless Supercharge, and 7.5 W wireless reverse charging.

This foldable is IPX8 certified, and has Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, 3.1 Gen 1, dual-band WiFi only, and dual-SIM.
