Today, 70mai announced the launch of its flagship Dash Cam Omni at Lazada Malaysia headquarters. Malaysia is the first country in Southeast Asia to be given this opportunity to try this new dash cam.
The Dash Cam Omni has a large f/1.5 aperture and it’s using PureCel Plus-S HDR technology. It can take up to 2K resolution images and record Full HD videos. Besides that, there’s a lane departure alert, voice control (English only) and the option to overlay live footage with futuristic effects.
Patented 360-Degree Full View Design
Inside the Omni, there are 2-Phase Stepping Motors with a revolutionary 340-degree swivel design and a 140-degree field of view, free from image distortions. 70mai claims this delivers the industry’s first true 360-degree full-view dash cam with no blind spots. Drivers can adjust the camera to any desired shooting angle.
24 Hours AI-Powered Parking Surveillance
70mai claims their AI-based “Human Detection Algorithm” prevents false triggers, accurately identifies suspicious activity and starts a one minute recording.
The “Collision Detection Algorithm” quickly locates and records accidents, so drivers will have the proofs needed for accident claims. You can also use the dash cam like a CCTV, controlling it through your phone, taking photos/videos.
Also, the dash cam will immediately notify you if there’s any collision or suspicious activity happening around your car.
Built-in GPS and Find My Car
With a 4G Hardware Kit, you can track the location of your car all the time. The GPS data syncs to 70mai app and with a map pinpointing the location of your car.
Personal AI Companion and LED Glow Ring
There are 10 MaiX emoji and nine scenario-based reactive emoji embedded in a 1.2-inch IPS display. Besides that, the LED will light up in five different colours depending on the situations and statuses of the dash cam.
Pricing and Availability
Dasher, the official distributor of 70mai products, didn’t release any pricing info but they told us the price of the 70mai Dash Cam Omni will be below RM600.
