The Jabra Elite 5 is designed for those needing to answer calls anywhere and enables people to immerse themselves in their favourite music.
The earbud is powered by Qualcomm QCC3050 SoC and this means you are getting aptX Audio support, in addition to SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. If you want to block out all external noises, this earbud comes with Hybrid ANC technology that incorporates feedback microphones within the ear, and feedforward microphones on the exterior that ensures you are getting reliable noise cancellation across a wider range of frequencies.
This earbud has six microphones, so you don’t have to worry that someone on the other side can’t hear you, even when you are in a noisy environment.
The earbud is running Bluetooth 5.2 and you can easily pair this earbud with an Android device through Google Fast Pair (Android 6.0 and above) or a Windows PC through Microsoft Swift Pair (Windows 10 and above). You can also connect the earbud to two devices at once using Bluetooth Multipoint, and voice command (Google Assistant and Alexa) is supported as well.
Jabra said the earbud will last up to 7 hours with ANC on and up to 28 hours with the case or up to 9 hours with ANC off and up to 36 hours with the case. With just 10 minutes of charging, you are getting 1 hour of playback. The case supports wired and Qi-certified wireless chargers.
The earbud has an IP-55 rating, it offers limited protection against dust and water. You can exercise with it, but don’t go swimming. To provide the best music experience, the earbud has a customizable EQ and support Spotify Tap Playback.
