Remember WeWork? It is a global brand that made the idea of a coworking space mainstream and spawned countless impersonators.
WeWork grew from a single coworking space into a global brand worth 47 billion USD in under a decade. Then, in less than a year, its value plummeted. What happened?
WeCrashed is a highly anticipated limited series starring Academy Award and SAG Award winners Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway, and based on the hit Wondery podcast “WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork.”
It also stars Kyle Marvin, America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle.
WeCrashed is created by Emmy nominee Eisenberg (“Good Boys”) and Crevello, who also serve as writers, executive producers and showrunners.
The series is directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (“This is Us,” “Crazy, Stupid, Love”), who also serve as executive producers alongside Charles Gogolak, Hathaway and Natalie Sandy.
Leto and Emma Ludbrook executive produce through their Paradox production company, and Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy and Aaron Hart executive produce from Wondery.
WeCrashed will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on 18 March, followed by new weekly instalments each Friday during its eight-episode season through 22 April.
