Seremban And Nilai Switching To Cashless Parking From 2 May Onwards

Starting 2 May, motorists in designated areas of Nilai and Seremban will be subject to parking fees by the Seremban City Council.

These areas include Bandar Prima Senawang, Lavender Business Centre, Ixora Business Centre, Pusat Bandar Senawang, Rasah Prima, Era Square, Kepayang Business Square, Dataran Centrio, Uptown Avenue, and Nilai Square, totaling to 5,514 parking spaces, according to The Star.

The council stated that these charges align with regulations outlined in the Road Transport Act 1987 and council bylaws.

Syarikat Suasa Efektif (M) Sdn Bhd has been appointed by the council to manage and enforce parking regulations in these areas.

Motorists will have the option to utilise Flexi Parking, Setel apps, or Touch n‘ Go e-wallet for payment, with a parking rate of 60 sen per hour.

Parking enforcement will be operational from 8am to 5pm on weekdays, while parking will be free during weekends and public holidays.

Additionally, the council announced the discontinuation of parking coupons in Seremban and Nilai effective 1 January 2025.
