CMF, standing for Colour, Material, Finish, is a sub-brand created by Nothing, which focuses on producing more affordable devices for the general public.
The CMF Buds and Neckband Pro were announced last month and the company said they are ready to release the audio devices in Malaysia on 4 April.
CMF Buds
The CMF Buds boast Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) at 42dB and a transparency mode, complemented by 12.4mm drivers with a bio-fibre and custom TPU diaphragm, tuned by Dirac, along with four built-in microphones.
They also feature Bluetooth 5.3 with Fast Pair, multi-point connectivity, and a Low Lag gaming mode. The buds are claimed to provide a total of 35.5 hours of use with the charging case.
They support fast charging, offering approximately 6.5 hours of listening time after just 10 minutes of charging. Excluding their case, the buds have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
CMF Neckband Pro
The CMF Neckband Pro includes 13.6mm audio dynamic drivers with Ultra Bass technology 2.0, spatial audio support, ANC at 50dB, Bluetooth 5.3 with Fast Pair, five built-in microphones, and an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. It also features a customisable Smart Dial for controlling volume, playback, and ANC.
CMF claims this model provides up to 37 hours of listening time with ANC off, or up to 23 hours with ANC on. A quick 10-minute charge reportedly delivers about 18 hours of playback.
Pricing and Availability
The CMF Buds will retail at RM199, and the CMF Neckband Pro at RM189, with these prices being introductory offers. CMF has not disclosed the post-promotion prices for either product.
Both devices come in Orange, Dark Grey, and Light Grey, and will be available on Shopee and Lazada starting this Thursday, 4 April.
Nothing Phone (2), Ear (2), and CMF Watch Pro promotion
Nothing is also running a promotion for Nothing Phone (2), offering a steep RM700 discount on the 12GB+512GB model but only until 14 April. This model retails for RM3,499, but you can get it for RM2,799 for a limited time.
In addition to the phone, discounts are available for the Ear (2) and the CMF Watch Pro. Both accessories are being offered at a RM100 discount. The earbuds are priced at RM399, and the smartwatch is available for RM299.
