LG Electronics recently introduced the LG Rent-Up program, dubbed as the first all-encompassing home appliance rental service in Malaysia.
The initiative aims to allow Malaysians to enhance their living spaces with cutting-edge home appliances while preserving financial flexibility.
LG disclosed that the program is applicable to specific models from nine product lines, covering air and water purifiers, air conditioners, washing machines, smart TVs, and more. The rental period can be chosen as either five or seven years, contingent upon the selected product range, with the standard warranty in effect, according to RinggitPlus.
In addition to this adaptable timeframe, participants in the LG Rent-Up program will enjoy a comprehensive service package throughout the entire rental duration. This package includes benefits such as self-service and regular visits from LG technicians, seamless integration with LG’s ThinQ app, and other perks like free deliveries, installations, and expert consultations.
At the conclusion of the rental period, lessees have the option to retain the rented appliances or they can opt to upgrade to the latest LG home appliances. Alternatively, they can opt to upgrade to the latest LG home appliances.
