A new render suggests that Apple might be working on a budget-friendly iPhone for its fans. The last iPhone SE model came out in 2022. Could this be the fourth generation of the iPhone SE series?
According to CAD (computer-aided design) renders obtained by 91mobiles, the iPhone SE 4 will have a 6.1-inch display size. This is a significantly larger over the previous iPhone SE which only has a 4.7-inch display.
The CAD renders also indicate that the iPhone SE 4 will have a notch size comparable to the iPhone 13/14 series, accommodating the Face ID module. Additionally, the phone is set to retain a single primary camera on the back, similar to its predecessors and a USB-C port.
In terms of dimensions, the device is expected to measure 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7mm, aligning with the size of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14.
However, the final product may differ significantly from these CAD renders, which do not show an Action button or Mute switch next to the volume keys, so take this rumour with a grain of salt.
The 4th generation iPhone SE is anticipated to be unveiled in 2025. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if the device makes an appearance at this year alongside the iPhone 16 series.
