Acer has just announced a new version of its budget gaming laptop line, the Nitro series with Nitro V 15, configurable with two different GPUs.
The Acer Nitro V 15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Internally, it houses an Intel Core i5-13420H processor, 8GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB M.2 SSD.
You have the option to upgrade the RAM to 32GB using its two RAM slots, and the storage can also be expanded with two slots available for upgrading.
The base model comes with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 GPU, but you can choose the RTX 4050 if you want more gaming performance.
The battery has a capacity of 57Wh. In terms of connectivity, it offers WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and an RJ45 LAN port.
Regarding ports, the Acer Nitro V 15 is equipped with an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.2 ports, a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, and a microSD card reader. The entire unit weighs approximately 2.1kg, making it relatively light for a gaming laptop.
Pricing and Availability
Coming with 2 years warranty, the Acer Nitro V 15 retails for RM3,099 (RTX 2050) and RM3,899 (RTX 4050) and they are available immediately at all Acer concept stores nationwide.
Customers who purchase the Acer Nitro V 15 before 31 December 2023 will get free gifts worth up to RM637, including a Nitro Urban Gaming Backpack, Trend Micro Internet Security 3 years subscription, Logitech G Wireless Gaming Mouse and RM80 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit.
