Today, Apple Malaysia has started selling the USB-C equipped AirPods Pro 2 and its latest smartwatches, the Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2.
The Apple Watch Series 9 comes with an update to the Apple S9 System in Package (SiP) and offers features like using Siri independently without the need to connect to a smartphone.
On the other hand, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is a rugged and high-powered smartwatch, equipped with better GPS support, a brighter screen, and specialised sensors that activate the dark mode feature automatically.
Both smartwatches also come with Double Tap gesture support, making it easier for users to perform various tasks quickly without touching the screen.

Besides that, Apple has added USB-C port plus additional features to Airpods Pro 2. Apple has expanded the range of ear tip sizes for a better fit, and they have also improved dust resistance to IP54.
With iOS 17, Apple has added some software features to enhance the feature list. These features will also be available on the older AirPods Pro 2.
A new listening mode called “Adaptive Audio” has been introduced, which dynamically combines Transparency mode and ANC.
Another feature called “Conversation Awareness” will automatically lower the volume of the content when the user starts speaking to someone nearby, while also enhancing the nearby voice and reducing background noise.
Additionally, there is a feature called “Personalized Volume”, which uses machine learning to understand environmental conditions and volume preferences over time.
The earbuds themselves now have Mute and Unmute controls, and there is an improved automatic switching function across the Apple ecosystem.

Pricing and Availability
The pricing for the Apple Watch Series 9 begins at RM1,899 for the 41mm aluminium version, offering GPS functionality.
The Watch Ultra 2 is available for RM3,799 and includes cellular data support along with a choice of three different band options.
The AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C is available for RM1,099.
