Currently, if you have something to do at the Road Transport Department (RTD), you have to download and use the JPJeQ app to get your queue number before you are allowed to talk to the RTD officers.
This app is different from the MyJPJ app, which means users need to use two different apps to deal with this department. However, according to Amanz, you can soon delete the JPJeQ app from your phone.
During the JomLaunch 2023 event happening on 7 October 2023, the development team at RTD stated that the JPJeQ app will soon be integrated into the MyJPJ app. This will make it easier for users to have just one app for various matters involving RTD.
Amanz says that the development is currently underway, and the integration is expected to be introduced shortly.
This aligns with previous announcements by RTD indicating that by 2025, all RTD-related services can be accessed directly through the MyJPJ app.
