Road Transport Department (RTD) director-general Datuk Rospiagos Taha has announced that the MyJPJ application is expected to offer all RTD related services by 2025.

He explained that this goal aligns with the department’s ambition to fully digitise its services by 2025, according to Bernama.

However, he emphasised that the success of this endeavour relies on the effectiveness of the system integrated into the MyJPJ application.

Currently, the app provides access to several RTD-related services for the public, including checking driver’s license status, LKM (roadtax) details, summonses, and demerit points.

Rospiagos further mentioned that they are presently in an interim phase and are actively implementing a pilot project for LKM and driver’s license renewal exclusively among RTD staff.

This initiative aims to evaluate the stability and reliability of the system developed through the application.
