Shell Malaysia has a new mobile app called the “Shell App” and they are working towards implementing the app across all of its 1,010 stations nationwide by the end of 2023.
Currently available at 650 service stations, the app aims to provide customers with the convenience of purchasing fuel from their vehicles, as stated by Seow Lee Ming, the General Manager of Mobility in Malaysia.
The app stands out as the country’s first fuel payment application safeguarded by a 3-D Secure verification, enhancing security and offering a safer user experience against potential fraudulent activities, as reported by Bernama.
Seow emphasised the company’s commitment to improving customer experiences through innovation and choice in today’s rapidly evolving world. She also added that Shell’s new app plays a crucial role in enhancing customer interactions and experiences.
The Shell App also incorporates BonusLink integration, allowing customers to earn points from a wide range of 3,000 merchants and redeem exclusive rewards offered by Shell.
Recognising the significance of tailored deals and promotions, Seow highlighted the app’s capability to create personalised offers based on customers’ preferences, thereby enriching their experiences at Shell.
Additionally, the Shell App provides features such as expense tracking and monitoring of BonusLink points earned. It also assists customers in locating the nearest Shell station equipped with various facilities and amenities.
The Shell app is available for download on the Google Play Store and the App Store. You can read more about the app HERE.
