Honda Malaysia today announced the price of the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV variant.
This is the first time that the City model is offered to Malaysians in a hatchback body type and equipped with e:HEV technology.
We launched the All-New City Hatchback in December 2021 and the response from Malaysians has been overwhelming. To-date, we have collected more than 5,200 bookings.

Price
The price of the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV variant is RM107,783.09. That does not include insurance and sales tax (exemption ends 30 June 2022)
Features
It comes with RS exterior, e:HEV powertrain, Honda SENSING, and advanced telematics Honda CONNECT.
External
This variant also comes with Gloss Black – Front Grill, Solid Wing and Door Mirrors, to give it a two-toned body look. The RS e:HEV exclusive shape is featured in the areas of Lower Grill, Fog Garnish and Rear Bumper.
For illumination it has the LED Headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), LED Front Fog Lights, Tailgate Spoiler and LED Rear Combi Lights.
The 16in Alloy Wheels on the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV variant completes the sleek appearance of the hatchback.
The Drive
Powering the City is the 1.5L Sports intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) powertrain and coupled with Electric Continuous Variable Transmission (e-CVT).
The powertrain delivers 109PS and 253Nm of torque.
The RS e:HEV variant’s advanced 2-motor hybrid system regulates between three driving modes: EV, Hybrid, and Engine drive modes, that will switch depending on the driving conditions..
Internal
Inside the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV features red-stitched Ultrasuede Seats, a 7in Interactive Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Meter , and an 8in Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity.
It also has Rear Air Conditioning Ventilation, a first-in-segment feature for the car.
All City Hatchbacks have the 4-Modes versatile ULTRA Seats, which can be configured into Utility, Long, Tall, or Refresh modes.
The Tech
Other advanced first-in-segment features in the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV are Honda LaneWatch, Electric Parking Brake (EPB) and Remote Engine Start.
This top of the range model is also equipped with Honda SENSING, the most complete advanced safety features in its segment. The suite of driver assistance safety systems in Honda SENSING include:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
- Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
- Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Auto High Beam (AHB)
It also has an added Auto Brake Hold (ABH).
Honda CONNECT is exclusively available in the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV variant. It allows users to connect with their cars with a touch of their fingertips via a smartphone application.
Key functions of the Telematics technology in Honda CONNECT are aimed at easing the owner’s accessibility to their vehicle and its information at all times.
Colours
The All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV comes in three colour options – Ignite Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic and Platinum White Pearl.
