Sony is giving PlayStation 5 a splash of colour with the new faceplates and matching DualSense 5 controller. These accessories are expected to go on sale starting January 2022.
The faceplates and controllers are available in Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple.
In the US the new faceplates will cost 55USD (~RM233). However there are no official pricing for Malaysia yet.
Sony stated in its blog post that the new faceplates will simply click into place. However, the company did not say anything about selling the PS5 with the new colours out the box.
The DualSense 5 controller will get three more colours — Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple. The new controllers will be released in the first half of 2022, according to Sony.
In the US the controllers are priced at 74.99USD (~RM318). Again, there are no official pricing for Malaysia yet.
