Huawei P60 Series Officially Announced In China; Could Be Coming To M’sia Soon

Yesterday, Huawei launched their new flagship series, the Huawei P60 Series in China, with emphasis on mobile photography, aesthetic design and all-rounded user experiences.

There are three phones in this series, the P60, P60 Pro, and P60 Art. All of them are using Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G chipset, with support up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

All of them have a 10-bit 6.67-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2700 × 1220,  1-120Hz Adaptive High Dynamic Refresh rates, 1440Hz high frequency PWM dimming, and up to 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The P60 and P60 Pro have the same battery capacity of 4,815mAh, but P60 Art has a bigger 5,100mAh battery. P60 Pro and Art support wired 88W SuperCharge, but P60 only support wired 66W SuperCharge. All of them support wireless 50W SuperCharge.

All of them have IP68 dust and water-resistant rating, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, 3.1 Gen 1, limited to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi only, dual-SIM, and of course, still no Google services.

The biggest difference between three of them are the cameras. The P60 has a 48MP Ultra Lighting Camera (F1.4~F4.0 aperture, OIS), a 13MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (F2.2 aperture), and a 12MP Telephoto Camera (F3.4 aperture, OIS).

The P60 Pro has a 48MP Ultra Lighting Camera (F1.4~F4.0 aperture, OIS), a 13MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (F2.2 aperture), and a 48MP Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera (F2.1 aperture, OIS).

While the P60 Art has a 48MP Ultra Lighting Camera (F1.4~F4.0 aperture, OIS), a 40MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (F2.2 aperture), and a 48 MP Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera (F2.1 aperture, OIS). They all have the same selfie camera, a 13MP (Wide Angle, F2.4).

The P60 and P60 Pro come in four colours: Rococo Pearl,Violet,Green and Black.

While the P60 Art comes in two colours: Seashore Gold and Azure Blue.

Pricing and Availability

The company didn’t share any pricing with us, but they told us via press release that “Huawei may be launching the highly anticipated phone in Malaysia soon.” We will be keeping our eyes open for this one, so stay tuned to our page and social media for more updates.
