Samsung just sent over their latest mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and this is going to be my first impressions of it.
The Galaxy A54 is using Exynos 1380 chip, which is an octa-core processor based on 5nm fabrication.
The phone comes with a fresh design and premium materials, and Samsung claims the battery life life can last up to two days. The frame is made out of plastic, but the front and back is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and the upgraded build quality gives the phone a premium feel. Additionally, because of the colour, fingerprints on the back aren’t as noticeable compared to a darker colour.
It features a 6.4-inch FHD 120Hz Super AMOLED display, but the thick bezel around the display is distracting. The rear camera has a design similar to the S23 series, if you don’t tell anyone, they would have guessed that it’s a S23. Besides that, the phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
The device runs on the latest Android 13 and OneUI 5.1, and Samsung promises four major OS updates and five years of security updates.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G seems like a great option for those in search of a mid-range device with improved performance and battery life. However, a full review is necessary before making I can tell you whether this phone is worth your hard-earned money, so stay tuned to TechTRP!
