Many new smartphones these days can cost thousands of ringgit, making them incredibly expensive. But if you’re a light user who doesn’t need the most up-to-date hardware, this is the one for you.
The Realme C33 packs all the right ingredients to be a budget-friendly, yet trendy and beautiful smartphone for budget-conscious consumers.
The phone is powered by an octa-core, 12nm Unisoc T612 processor and it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD.
The display is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen, with a 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, support for 120Hz refresh rate and has a resolution of 720×1600.
To keep the phone running, there’s a big 5,000mAh battery. The C33 doesn’t support fast-charging but realme said it is capable of lasting up to 37 days on standby mode, while supporting an Ultra-Saving mode that gives the user up to 1.8 hours of calling time on only 5% of battery level.
On the back, despite having two camera islands, there’s actually only one 50 MP camera and a 0.3 MP depth sensor. On the front, sitting inside the notch, is a 5MP selfie camera.
Also, the C33 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB 2.0 for charging and data transfer, instead of the more common and modern USB-C.
The Realme C33 will be available in two bold colours – Aqua Blue and Night Sea.
