[Updated] Dell Introduces Two New Devices For Productivity And Play From RM724

The American multinational company computer company has announced the latest addition to the premium XPS line and a new webcam intended for professionals.

The star of the show in this new announcement is the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. You can turn it into a tablet, or you can get the magnetic folio (sold separately) that can attach to the base and provide a stable stand and a full keyboard experience to turn your tablet into a full laptop.

If you want to write or sketch on the go, Dell is also selling a custom stylus that magnetically snaps on the top to recharge.

The body is crafted from CNC machined aluminium that ensures ultra-thin and ultra-light design for work and play.

Under the hood, the XPS 13 2-in-1 packs the latest Intel 12th gen processor with support up to i7-1250U with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. You can configure the RAM with support for up to 16GB of 4266MHz LPDDR4x dual-channel memory (non-expendable) and support for up to 1TB of PCIe 4 SSD.

This 13-inch device has a 13-inch 3:2 3K (2880×1920) touch display, is Dolby Vision and DisplayHDR 400 certified, 500-nit of brightness, supports 100% sRGB, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

For audio and speakers, the XPS comes with studio quality tuning with Waves MaxxAudio Pro and Waves Nx 3D audio. Aside from that, it has an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E 1675 and Bluetooth 5.2 to keep you connected.

If you want to take a quick photo or a video, the XPS is equipped with a Full HD front-facing camera capable of using Windows Hello, and the rear camera has an 11MP single lens setup that can take 4K video.

This is for people who want to look their best in presentations and meetings. This is a Dell Pro Webcam WB5023. This is a professional-grade 2K QHD webcam that uses Sony’s STARVIS sensor and multi-element lens, and is capable of letting in substantial light for crystal-clear picture clarity.

This webcam uses a combination of Digital Overlap HDR and Facial Detection Auto Exposure to optimise the user’s image so it always looks good, and the intelligent AI Auto Framing feature ensures the person will always be centred in the frame.

This Dell Pro Webcam has a built-in noise reduction mic for clear communication, a magnetic shutter cap for privacy and a built-in mounting clip for easy attachment to a monitor, notebook or attaching to a tripod.

Pricing and Availability

The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 and Dell Pro Webcam WB5023 will be available this month, but Dell didn’t announce any specific date of release.
