Infinix, a young smartphone brand, officially launched the all-new Infinix HOT 30 series yesterday in Malaysia, offering two models – Hot 30 & Hot 30i. The phones will be up for purchase from the 14 April onwards on all Infinix online and offline selling channels.
Infinix Hot 30
This phone is using MediaTek Helio G88 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable via microSD card).
It has a 6.78-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a touch sampling rate up to 270Hz, and a peak brightness of 580 nits. To keep the phone running, it’s powered by a 5,000mAh battery that support for 33W fast charging.
On the back, the Infinix Hot 30 has a dual-camera setup: a 50MP main sensor and an “AI lens”. The front of the phone has an 8MP selfie camera
It supports 4G, NFC, dual-band WiFi, unspecified version of Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Hot 30 is available in three colours: Surfing Green, Racing Black, and Sonic White.
Infinix Hot 30i
This more wallet-friendly device uses a Unisoc T606 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable via microSD card).
It has a 6.56-inch 720p IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 500 nit peak brightness. The Hot 30i is also fed by a 5,000mAh battery, but it only charges at a much slower 18W through USB-C.
It also has a dual-camera setup on the back with a 13MP main camera, a secondary “AI camera”, and an 8MP selfie camera.
It supports 4G, unspecified Bluetooth, and dual-band WiFi, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a fingerprint scanner, but no NFC.
The Hot 30i can be purchased in three colours: Glacier Blue, Mirror Black, and Diamond White.
