Vivo Malaysia kicking off 2024 with the launch of its latest flagship smartphone lineup, the X100 and X100 Pro.
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 SoC. Both phones are equipped with 16GB RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
Both models sport a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with curved edges, featuring a 2800 x 1260 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
The X100 and X100 Pro also come with a custom imaging chip. The X100 is driven by the Vivo V2 Chip, while the X100 Pro has the latest V3 Chip.
Their triple rear camera setup comprises a 50MP OIS-enabled main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle unit, and a 64MP (50MP on the Pro) telephoto lens offering 3x optical and 100x digital zoom.
The super telephoto camera uses the ZEISS-certified Vario-APO-Sonnar lens. For selfies, both phones feature a 32MP front camera and leverage Vivo’s V3 imaging chip for enhanced photography capabilities and 4K video recording.
In terms of colour, the X100 comes in a Startrail Blue and an Asteroid Black, while the X100 Pro is only available in Startrail Blue.
The standard and Pro models are equipped with 5,000mAh and 5,400mAh battery units, supporting 120W and 100W wired charging, respectively. Additionally, the X100 Pro supports 50W wireless charging.
Both devices boast an in-screen fingerprint scanner and are IP68-certified for dust and water resistance. They come with Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14 out of the box. Connectivity options include a USB-C Gen 3.2 port, WiFi-7, 5G, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo X100 with 16GB+512GB storage is set to launch in Malaysia at a price of RM3,499. For those eyeing the Vivo X100 Pro, it comes with a price tag of RM4,599.
Exclusive pre-orders for both models will kick off on 4 January 2024, for online purchases and on 6 January 6 2024, for in-store pre-orders at Vivo concept stores, accompanied by freebies.
When customers opt for the X100 during this pre-order period, they will receive a complimentary Vivo care 180 days screen protection valued at RM300, plus a free Vivo TWS air.
Meanwhile, those choosing the X100 Pro will not only get the Vivo care 180 days screen protection but also a bundle comprising vivo TWS 2e and a Vivo selection smartwatch.
